Hello!
I'm Heather Nelson and my journey into photography began many years ago as an keen amateur. On deciding to take a career change, I entered the profession by studying Photography & Digital Design with Lancaster University. I immersed myself into the art world and took inspiration from great artists such as Avedon, Beaton, Leibovitz and Misrach.
My editorial work has been published in national press and magazines such as Rugby World, and advertising imagery features in Lingerie Buyer, Nursery Today magazines, as well as the web pages of Boots and John Lewis. I have produced images for show curtains at Salon de la Lingerie, Paris and major NEC and UK fashion events. During 2013 I worked with Professional Player Magazine, photographing UK Premiership Football Players for Editorial content, and have recently launched my commercial headshot service which is now available to leading professionals throughout the UK.
My other interests include film, graphic design and architecture, and I keep busy by volunteering as a Trustee and Secretary for a local community project.
